The IEEC is an educational network of universities that offers students worldwide a unique opportunity to attend courses and fellowships that enhances their understanding of electoral institutional norms and practices of the country that is hosting the activity. Past host countries include: Brazil, Estonia, Hungary, Greece, Cape Verde, and several others. Students must incorporate what they learned about the host country’s systems in a comparative analysis of the host country and their home country that is due at the completion of the course. The IEEC provides a limited number of scholarships to highly qualified candidates that cover the full cost of flights and accommodation. For those not selected for scholarships, please note that each person is responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and costs, but the courses  and fellowships are no additional cost.
